8-Day Etosha National Park, Swakopmund & Sossusvlei (Camping),) is a group tour that includes accommodation as well as an expert guide, meals, transport and more.

Day 1:Thursday -Airport to Uzuri Guesthouse , Windhoek

As soon as you arrive people tours and safaris representative will pick you up from the Hosea Kutako International Airport. The airport Is 45 km outside Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. It has been a long journey, you will be dropped  off at Uzuri Guesthouse or similar.

Day 2:Friday- Windhoek- Etosha National Park

Main Destination: Etosha National Park

Accommodation: okaukuejo (campsite) or similar

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Pick up from your hotel or lodge between 7am-8am to allow us to depart at 8.30am. Headed to the north we will have our lovely lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. We will drive through the National park in search of wildlife: elephants, rhino, zebras, various game (oryx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, springbok, gemsbok) giraffes, hyenas and big cats of Africa: lion, leopard and cheetah inhabiting the enormous grasslands. We will be at our respective accommodation just before sunset. Dinner will sum-up the adventure and rest will be required so that we can be able to work up early and fresh for the next adventure.

Day 3:Saturday- Etosha National Park

Main Destination: Etosha National Park

Accommodation: harare (campsite) or similar

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

An early rise will be encouraged to have the feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast we will then start our game drive to allow us to have a magnificent exploration, we will visit the waterholes. We will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow us to rest, gathering energy for our next adventure. After a short relaxation we will then visit our last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Before sunset we will be back to our accommodation place so that we can have dinner as we share stories of our experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.

Day 4: Sunday-Etosha to Swakopmund

Main Destination: Swakopmund 

Accommodation: Tiger Reef (campsite)or similar

Meals: Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included)

You will be collected from your lodge between 07:00 and 08:00. We have a long drive today 540km ahead of you. We will drive via Outjo and turn off right before Otjiwarango towards Omaruru. We will have a picnic lunch in Omaruru, the town has 14,000 inhabitants and owns 352 square kilometres of land. We will continue via Karibib and Usakos and then across the Namibia Desert to Swakopmund. We will arrive in Swakopmund mid-afternoon where you will have time to explore this quaint seaside town on foot and your guide will be happy to recommend a good restaurant for your evening meal (own expense).

Day 6: Tuesday- Swakopmund to Sossusvlei

Main Destination: Sossusvlei

Accommodation: Camping in or outside the park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Namibia is a country of contrasts. Today we will move from the sea to the desert. On our way we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub and the Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold before us. Having arrived at the desert, we will make a stop at Solitaire for our lunch. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning.

Day 7: Wednesday-Sossuvlei, Dune 45, Big Daddy, Dead Vlei & Sesriem

Main Destination: Sossusvlei

Accommodation: Camping in or outside the park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return back to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activities for the day.

Day 8: Thursday-Sossusvlei, Windhoek

Main Destination: Windhoek 

Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour) 

Meals: Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included)

Soon after breakfast we will depart back to Windhoek we will stop-over at Solitaire for provisions. On our way back, we drive through beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. We will approximately arrive at our destination before lunch. We will drop you off at the hotel/lodge of your choice Farewell, goodbye.
