About us
Namibia was originally inhabited by bushmen, then the peoples came, and from the second half of the seventeenth century there was an expansion of the Bantu peoples. In 1878, the British established the port of Walvis Bay. In 1883, the German merchant Lüderitz purchased Angra Penguen (now Lüderitz Bay) from nama chief Joseph Fredericks for a trifle of 10,000 Reichsmarks and 260 weapons, thus Namibia, as one of the last African territories, became a European colony in Africa.
